Who are we?

Smart Defence is a platform that aims to bring together in a single space the individuals and national and international entities that participate in the defence sector, such as the Ministry of Defence, members of the armed forces, diplomatic attachés, private companies, research centres, students, journalists, among others, as well as business opportunities.

Our mission

The platform's mission is to foster business in the Defence ecosystem, providing visibility to registered entities and available opportunities, such as national and international public tenders. To speed up the search and identification process, a matchmaking system is used to connect user profiles with grants and tenders.

In order to mitigate the bureaucratic difficulties sometimes inherent to the application processes to public programmes, the Legislative Area was also created, which gathers the rules and conditions of the ongoing opportunities. In order to contribute to and promote the Defence ecosystem, a Community hub has also been incorporated, for sharing and debating ideas. Finally, the suitability of the entities involved is guaranteed, since their registration is subject to validation by the platform administrator (idD).
