In 2020, Gura Group acquires the injection tooling company ‘Moldes 2000’ with great plans for the future. Moldes 2000 is a company dedicated to the manufacture of steel molds for plastic injection and die casting. It is located in Marinha Grande, the largest center of the mould industry in the country. It is a solid and dynamics company with proven evidence of its effectiveness and quality service. It possesses, above all, a vast know-how and values the proximity relationships and mutual trust with its customers. Moldes 2000 internal philosophy is to provide the best service, meeting the demands of the current market. Tooling and Prototyping: • Co-Design; • Part construction and assembly; • Rheological analysis; • Tool study; • Tool prototypes, 3D printed, resin and steel; • Tool development; • Tool construction (multicomponent, IML, IMD, Mucell, Injection blow molding, multi-layer, injection compression, packaging, medical, lighting and special applications); • Part production (Small series); • Second stage of foreign tools; • Checking fixtures; • 3D measurement controls (on steel and plastic).
