Fibrenamics, the Institute for Innovation in Fibrous and Composite Materials at the University of Minho, is an interface centre for the generation, enhancement and transfer of advanced knowledge in fibrous and composite materials, operating under the motto "From Science to People" in various sectors, especially defence, architecture, construction, sport, medicine, personal protection and transport. At the same time, Fibrenamics is a CTI - Technology and Innovation Centre. Based on a multidisciplinary team, Fibrenamics is thus a link between universities, companies and society, believing in technical-scientific innovation as the main driver of business growth.
