Universidade Lusófona de Humanidades e Tecnologias (ULHT)

The Research Centre for Industrial Engineering, Management and Sustainability (EIGeS), of the Lusófona University of Humanities and Technologies (ULHT), is constituted by a multidisciplinary team of about two dozen researchers, with academic and professional experience in the areas of engineering, economics, management and sustainability, using scientific methods of decision support, optimisation, forecasting, simulation, statistics, mathematics and artificial intelligence, and with experience in their application in a wide range of industries, including manufacturing, health, environment, retail, transport, energy and utilities. Our ultimate goal is to produce applied scientific and technological research, organised in seven main research lines: Stochastic Analysis & Simulation; Healthcare and Environmental Engineering; Logistics and Operations; Management Science; Applied Statistics & Statistical Learning; Engineering Economy; Asset Management.
