Among current security challenges, CBRN threats of intended, accidental or natural origin continue to rise. The project aims to develop and test novel MCMs against CBRN threats. The project’s objectives are to design new decontaminating agents, and new generation vaccines against Monkeypoxand Variola viruses, or elaborate therapeutics against infections caused by other bacteria or viruses. Further optimisation and testing will bring lab-scale MCMs to higher technological readiness level, up to their validation in relevant environment.
